Our Little Adventures: February 2014
http://memlittleadventures.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 26, 2014. This post is for my mom, who mentioned the other day that she though Lydia was finally getting chubby. Yes, she is and don't you just LOVE it? I love her cheeks and the fat roll around her wrists. Oh, I adore this baby. Look at those thighs! And the arm rolls! Isn't she so pretty? I love this picture. She sucks in her lower lip and it's so cute. A friend of ours had a party at some stables, and they had a petting zoo too! Can we buy a horse now? And Charlotte, my diva girl, ...

Our Little Adventures: March 2014

Monday, March 31, 2014. This sweetheart is 11 months! She still loves her bottles and doesn't really love solid food. But she does love yogurt! Obviously. Other foods she loves are pancakes, tortilla chips, quesadillas, steamed broccoli, cookies (that's my girl! She really loves me. More than anything or anyone! She wakes up 4 times a night to eat. We're working on making sure she's only up to eat, and not up to play. But even so, she's still up 4 times a night. She doesn't take good naps and...This Litt...

Our Little Adventures: January 2014
http://memlittleadventures.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 31, 2014. We figured out how to spice up our bedtime routine. They were on board with our idea! Matt read bedtime stories to them like this one night. It was a great and fun idea until it was time to get down, at which point Nathalie had a bit of a meltdown because apparently she's afraid of heights (what? What do we do with these two high-up alcoves? Monday, January 27, 2014. 3/4 of the way there! Lydia is 9 months! And she's chubby. See her wrist rolls? I just love them! She still loves...

Our Little Adventures: December 2014
http://memlittleadventures.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 16, 2014. A friend and I were talking recently and she mentioned how she felt like the days and hours and minutes are just moving faster and faster. She said she can never find enough time for all the things she needs to do. I had to agree because our life has felt so crazy since September! A dog, and spending time with friends, new and old, going to the missionaries, serving other people and answering their cries for help and we were running faster than we had strength.

Our Little Adventures: May 2014

Monday, May 26, 2014. Dress up all day long. It took many tries, but she finally climbed to the top of the swingset! Look at that smug face. Popsicle eating is serious business. It's pretty tough to push the popsicle up when you're only 12 months. We grew these potatoes in our garden! The scissors are my Gingher craft scissors, so the biggest potato was probably the size of a small mango. And boy were they delicious. Saturday, May 17, 2014. Birthday Celebrations, a post of photos. Initially Nathalie want...

Our Little Adventures: July 2014
http://memlittleadventures.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 24, 2014. Home of the Buckeyes. Our trip was kind of split up into two parts- Ohio and Indiana. First stop, hometown in Ohio. We got to see all of our friends and loved ones. I was so busy being loved that I forgot to take pictures except for this one. Then, while Emily was at Cousin's Camp with my in-laws, Nan, Charlotte, Lydia and I headed to Columbus to spend time with my sister-in-laws. I got to meet a new like-niece (friends as close as family) and she was precious. This was in May!

Our Little Adventures: April 2014
http://memlittleadventures.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 30, 2014. One of the things I didn't realize after Charlotte's accident was that it would continue to haunt me. August is the two-year mark from when she and I got hit. I would have thought that by this point, the memories wouldn't bother me, but they still do, in unexpected ways. Not a car, and so I probably didn't need to panic since I could stop the wheelchair with my hand. But I had had a flashback of her falling again. I smacked the back of the car over and over until it stopped (it...

Our Little Adventures: March 2015

Sunday, March 29, 2015. About 6 weeks ago, a woman at church gave us some "cabbage" plants. Wintertime in the South is a perfect time to grow cabbage, so we planted them right away. Well, we kept waiting and waiting. For them to grow heads, but they never did. So we thought that maybe they were a type of stalk cabbage- that is, until the same woman brought us some collard greens from her garden. And when I looked at her collard greens, I realized that the plants in our garden weren't cabbage! Some neighb...
