HOUSE: New Mexico #2. HOUSE: New Mexico #1. I Love the Internet. K IS FOR BLACK shop. Black walls with black trim. October 24, 2010. After some consternation and consideration. I decided to go ahead and paint the trim in the bedroom black, too. I’ll take some photos later (I left my camera at my mother’s house! But here are a few photos of other mostly Victorian-era houses with black walls and black trim that are really inspiring me right now. You know, inspiring me to paint my whole house black. Love al...

Timberframe Home: Progress!
http://timberbarn.blogspot.com/2012/02/progress.html
Sunday, February 12, 2012. Our kitchen looks like a bomb exploded in it! But you have to make a mess to achieve beauty I guess. We moved the microwave into a cabinet in the island - the door needs to be trimmed down and the microwave trimmed in. So nice to have it off the counter. Hoping to have this all done by next weekend. Timberframe Home: April 2011
http://timberbarn.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 19, 2011. I made one of my favorite easy week night dinners last night:. Roasted Shrimp with Rosemary and Thyme. You can use any fresh herbs, you start with 5 tablespoons of olive oil, the herbs and some salt and pepper ( I use Jane's Krazy Mixed-Up Seasonings: Original Mixed-Up Salt) and roast that in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes or so. Let that cool a bit and then add the shrimp (I also add shallots in! Toss to coat with the herbs and oil. Easy, healthy and delicious! Spring is slowl...

Dear Husband Dear Wife Dear Baby. Little somethings to one another. The William Morris Project, Week 3. Dear Baby: A Third Of A Year →. The William Morris Project, Week 4. February 2, 2012. Who doesn’t love a big closet? It didn’t fit. So the 9-cube shelf is currently sitting in our living room (more clutter- ironically annoying considering the ponit of the William Morris Project) in hopes that we can sell it. We went back and bought a 6-cube shelf. it fit with some room to spare. Not a very glamorous pr...
