Wednesday, October 31, 2007. Tongue Ulcer - beware! Has anyone ever had an ulcer on the side of the tongue? I can tell you the feeling is terrible. Mine developed on Monday night and I haven't been able to talk properly since. The fact that it lies on the side of the tongue, makes it constantly in contact with my tooth, so when the sharp edge of my tooth pokes on it, bleeding starts. How can it ever recovers that way? Sunday, November 25, 2007. Another accident on the escalator. It must be a horrifying experience for him but luckily the civil defense team was fast and quick. Three cheers for them! Thursday, February 21, 2008. Something new for the year. Monday, February 18, 2008. A piece of good news. Today I received an SMS from P, telling me his baby boy arrived on the 3rd day of CNY. I called him immediately to congratulate him. He is the first friend of mine to have a baby this year, I am expecting the 2nd good news to arrive soon few months later. *wink* Am planning to visit the lucky boy and his parents this coming weekend. Sunday, April 29, 2007. We had a nice little dinner at Swensens and hop over to Esplanade for the performance at the waterfront. He loves drums and guitars and the music kept him entertained till he felt sleepy. Sent them in the cab before I went off. A nice change from the usual shopping routine with my girl friend. Monday, September 29, 2008. We went down to Orchard Road to continue from where we left off yesterday. Along the way, we saw a stall selling local kuehs and I asked them to try out a few. Sunday, February 01, 2009. A much deserved relaxing day. I was going to stay the whole day at home doing household chores when I received a call that my spa appointment is confirmed in the afternoon. As it was partly "sponsored" for my birthday and I needed a massage badly, I decided to go downtown. Saturday, August 16, 2008. Saturday, August 02, 2008. Day 7 : Farewell again. Today was the last day for our Hong Kong trip. We had the honor of CT sacrificing her rest day to accompany us for food and shopping. She brought us to a locally well-known Hakka restaurant and although it was further away from Mongkok station, the food made it worthwhile. Friday, August 01, 2008. Day 6 : Our first overseas toy show. After much "struggle" for an hour and a half, we got our tickets and we were in!
