Riddle Me This...: May 2013
http://riddlezreview.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us. - Joseph Campbell. Sometimes, I want to reach into my computer and throttle Blogger by the neck. Tonight is one of those times. These pictures are all out of order. I don't have the time or patience to make them right. Maybe I'm discounting your intelligence. I'm sure you know the dirt came before the grass. Still drives me bonkers and I edit this post with dissatisfaction in my bosom. Within minutes, the kids wer...

Friday, February 24, 2012. Ok, so I realize this is a Bazillion pictures, but they were all too cute so I had to include them. We went up to Tahoe for our annual Presidents day trip with our friends. This year the Noska and Hatch families came too. Lora was unable to make it due to her pregnancy and we missed her! But we made sure her family felt welcome and had a great time too. These were taken at a public park behind the casinos by the Heavenly Gondola. Posted by Poetry of Life. So, I LOVE my new hous...

Riddles and Poems: December 2012
http://riddlesandpoems.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 8, 2012. We decided to Christmas right this year. Last year we had just moved in and we did a little to feel the spirit, but we were still unpacking and setting one more thing up sounded just annoying. This year we got out all of our decorations and spent a few days setting up for the Olly Jolly Holliday. We will need a bigger fake tree soon. Posted by Poetry of Life. Saturday, December 1, 2012. Grand Canyon stop off. Posted by Poetry of Life. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Riddle Me This...: The One
http://riddlezreview.blogspot.com/2014/09/the-one.html
We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us. - Joseph Campbell. When we started dating, I asked Allen if he believed in "the one". When he flatly said, "no", the wind went out of my sails. What did that mean? Why was he choosing me then? If he didn't even think there was someone truly made just for him, was I just "better than being alone"? Happy Anniversary, Allen Riddle. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What started as a way to communicate with far away...

http://riddlezreview.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us. - Joseph Campbell. Addison asked a few months ago to be a baby giraffe for Halloween. The then declared that I would be the mommy giraffe. I kept trying to. We made a trip to the local pumpkin patch/carnival-like place/mining area/everything you could ever try to put in one place to make a little money place. I did consider leaving them there. Grandma came with us for the trip. The far left is spider. And Lexi ask...

We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us. - Joseph Campbell. I Wasn't Even Supposed To Be at Preschool Today. I don't take Addie to preschool most days of the week. She goes three times; I take and pick up once. We've got this awesome carpool situation worked out amongst three of us who live in the same neighborhood, and all go to the same preschool. It's awesome. A decision that changed our whole day. Have an easier time being reverent. As we were coming...

Riddle Me This...: Noxious Weeds and Life Lessons
http://riddlezreview.blogspot.com/2014/02/noxious-weeds-and-life-lessons.html
We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us. - Joseph Campbell. Noxious Weeds and Life Lessons. I'm sure I've mentioned how in our family we add chores as consequences when behavior is undesirable. This week has been rather challenging for one particular 5 year old in our household. As part of her consequence, she had to pull weeds in the yard. She embraced my obnoxious seventeen year old self, and welcomed me into her family. She spent countless hours f...
